Astra to carry Dance TV HD

Satellite operator SES Astra has signed an agreement with Dutch channel Dance TV HD to distribute it to HD bouquets throughout Europe.

Astra will provide capacity on Astra 3B, located at the 23.5° East orbital position, and deliver uplink services from its playout centre in Munich. Dance TV HD is a lifestyle channel focusing on the international dance scene. Programming includes international party reports, DJ concerts, festivals and other events. The channel started broadcasting a trailer programme yesterday and the full programme schedule will go live later this summer.
