Sky Deutschland and Kabel BW strike programming deal

German pay-TV provider Sky Deutschland and cable operator Kabel BW have signed a wide-ranging agreement that will allow the bundling of Sky’s pay-TV services with Kabel BW’s CleverKabel internet and telephony products and will ensure that Kabel BW can offer Bundesliga football to its customer base.

Marketing of the relevant Kabel BW Entertainment offer will kick off in July, and combined packages with broadband, telephony and Sky programming will begin in the next few weeks. “We are pleased that, within the scope of this cooperation with Sky, we can soon provide our customers package offers of fast internet and telephone as well as the premium content from Sky. In this way, we position ourselves as the entertainment provider in Baden-Württemberg,” said Harald Rösch, CEO of Kabel BW.
