Showtime to launch in Lithuania

Movie channel Showtime is to launch in Lithuania after Non Stop Television inked a deal with digital-terrestrial TV platform operator Teo.

The channel, which airs action movies and thrillers, will launch on the DTT platform next month. The network licenses its logo and branding from US cable network Showtime, although it does not share programming, and it is already available across Scandinavia. The deal was brokered in association with distribution agent Wide Media.
