History inks Bulgarian carriage deal

History is to launch in Bulgaria after AETN UK struck a distribution deal with Bulgarian satellite pay TV platform Total TV.

The channel launches this month and follows Total TV’s recent launch of its regional satellite platform after the company took over ITV Partner. This follows the successful launch of the History channel, which airs series including WWII Lost Films, Battles BC and Life After People, across the CEE region in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro.
