Hellas Sat CEO named as ESOA chairman

Hellas Sat CEO Christodoulos Protopapas has been elected chairman of the European Satellite Operators Association (ESOA) for the second time.

Protopapas, who was previously chairman of ESOA in 2007-08, was elected at the ESOA general assembly at Limassol in Cyprus.

OTE-owned Hellas Sat provides services to about 2.5 million households in the eastern Mediterranean region and the Middle East from the Hellas Sat 2 satellite.
