UK VOD operator fees set

The UK Association for Television on Demand (ATVOD) and UK communications regulator Ofcom have published the fees that UK video-on-demand operators must pay to comply with relevant European legislation.

The European AVMS directive require that VOD services are regulated and in the UK Ofcom and ATVOD share that responsibility and to fund that VOD operators must pay £2,900 (€3,471) for each service they operate.
