French VOD services merge

French video-on-demand services Vodeo and Imineo are to merge their catalogues following Vodeo’s acquisition of a 34% stake in Imineo.

Management of the combined entity will be led by the co-founders of Imineo. The combined catalogue will include about 15,000 titles. The two brands will continue to exist side-by-side. Vodeo is delivered primarily via IPTV, while between 65-70% of Imineo’s revenues come from the internet. Together the pair bring in revenues of over €1m a year.
