KDG delays launch of DVR service, analysts still optimistic

German cable operator Kabel Deutschland has delayed the launch of its digital video recorder service until the second half of the year, closely followed by the launch of a video-on-demand service.

Those launches are critical to KDG’s ability to increase mid-term ARPUs,” noted investment bank Morgan Stanley. “Stable broadband adds and new product launches in 2H should help maintain top line momentum,” it added.
