Russian kids show launches simultaneously on TV and internet

The latest series of popular Russian kids animated show Masha and the Bear is being made available simultaneously on TV and the internet for the first time.

The show, based on a traditional folktale, from production company Animakkord, is being made available on the intenet portals of distribution partners including Stream-TV, as part of an attempt to counter poor-quality pirated copies being made available on the internet as soon as a new series appears.
