TF1 completes NT1 and TMC acquisition

French commercial broadcaster TF1 has completed its acquisition of digital channels NT1 and TMC from AB Group.

The broadcaster has completed the deal, which will see it take a 100% stake in NT1 and a 40% stake in TMC. It added that the new channels will contribute to its consolidated performance later this year. “The effects of this acquisition will be reflected in the financial statements of the TF1 Groupe from the third quarter of 2010 onwards,” it noted.
