Digital Plus strikes deal with Vodafone for World Cup via mobile

Spanish pay-TV provider Digital Plus has struck a deal with Vodafone Spain to make coverage of the World Cup via the Digital Plus Móvil mobile TV service available to subscribers.

The Canal Plus Liga football channel will be included in the Digital Plus Móvil service from tomorrow, offering 64 matches from the tournament. The service, along with other Digital Plus Móvil channels, will be available to Vodafone subscribers for €1.50 a week.
