Sagemcom launches Freeview HD Plus DVR range

Sagemcom has launched a new range of Freeview HD DVRs. The consumer electronics manufacturer has launched two twin tuner models with 320GB and 500GB hard drives respectively. The 320GB model allows users to record up to 160 hours of programmes while the 500GB will allow 250 hours of programmes to be recorded. Both devices include USB and Ethernet ports and support Dolby Digital Plus. They also include search functionality, allowing users to search by genre or title.

Separately, Humax has confirmed dates for over-the-air software downloads to upgrade its range of DVRs and fix usability issues and a slowdown in operation for the PVR-9200T and PVR-9300T devices. The upgrades will automatically take place on the 9200T from June 9-11 and on the 9200T from June 11-14.
