Delta Kabel to add commercial HD channels

Dutch cable operator Delta Kabel, which  operates in the Zeeland region, will begin broadcasting the HD versions of commercial channels RTL 4 and SBS 6 this week.

DeltaKabel, which already broadcasts the HD channels of the Dutch public broadcaster, will begin offering the commercial channels’ remaining HD services, RTL 5 HD, RTL 7 HD, RTL 8 HD, Net 5 HD and Veronica HD, in September. The operator has about 65,000 digital subscribers, representing about 40% of its total base. HD subscriptions are available for €9.95 a month.
