KDG to expand 100Mbps service

German cable operator KDG plans to launch its 100Mbps broadband services to 14 more towns and cities by the end of the current fiscal year ending March 31, 2011.

The high-speed broadband service will launch in Augsburg, Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Helmstedt, Kiel, Leipzig, Ludwigshafen, Magdeburg, Nauen, Nuremberg, Potsdam, Saarbrücken and Würzburg over the coming months. It is already available in Hamburg, Hannover and Munich, where customers can pay €42.90 per month for 100Mbps broadband access and telephony services, or €32.90 for 60Mbps broadband and telephony services.
