EBU to deliver World Cup via portal

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and its members are to deliver coverage of the forthcoming World Cup live online through the EBU sports video portal, eurovisionsports.tv/fifaworldcup.

The portal will show full coverage of the 64 matches of the tournament for European audiences, as well as distribute 12 matches in 720p HD.

The portal will aggregate 27 EBU member broadcasters’ simulcast feeds and the EBU live feeds, providing over 2,200 hours of content, as well as a match highlights channel.
