Ofcom finds against CNN YouTube show

UK regulator Ofcom has found that a tie-up between Turner-owned news channel CNN and YouTube broke broadcasting rules.

The CNN YouTube Debate on Climate Change, which took viewers’ questions via YouTube during last December’s UN climate change summit in Copenhagen, features references to YouTube as well as the online video site’s logo. Ofcom has found that the show broke rules covering sponsorship of news programmes and product placement.
