ESPN acquires more football

Sports broadcaster ESPN has acquired the rights to broadcast at least 41 international football matches live and exclusively in the UK.

ESPN will show a number of pre-World Cup friendlies, featuring Argentina, USA, Czech Republic and Turkey, ESPN will also broadcast at least 16 Euro 2012 qualifiers and, at least 20 international friendlies in the coming months. Additionally, ESPN will deliver coverage of the Brazil World Tour.
