Dutch cable operator Ziggo added 407,000 digital TV customers in the 12 months to the end of March, giving it a total subscriber base of 3.14 million TV subs.
Broadband subscribers increased by 92,000 to 1.47 million and telephony subscribers were up 179,000 to 1.03 million. The total number of RGUs was 7.27 million, up from 6.69 million a year earlier as the cable operator increased its triple-play subscriber base by 367,000. Ziggo also saw its ARPU increase to Â32.55 from Â29.07.
First quarter revenue was up 7.8% year-on-year to Â338.8m. EBITDA was up 18.6% to Â194.8m.
