SET expands in Russia

Sony has inked new carriage agreements in Russia for its Sony Entertainment Television channel.

It has signed deals with National Cable Networks and TV Company St. Petersburg Cable Television, securing extra distribution in the Russian cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg respectively. Sony said the channel is now available in five million Russian pay-TV homes having launched in the country in 2009.
