Yamgo announces beta release of Android mobile TV service

Mobile video specialist Yamgo has announced the beta release of its UK Android streaming service, which it claims will allow most Android handset users to receive mobile video services at the same quality level enjoyed by Apple iPhone users.

Yamgo is offering a free-to-air live TV service, including channels from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4, via a 3G or WiFi connection, using adaptive bit-rate streaming to tailor the stream to the bandwidth available.
