SeeSaw launches pay service

SeeSaw, the Arqiva-owned UK online on-demand video service, has launched its paid-for service, offering 1,000 hours of content including comedy series South Park and Fawlty Towers, entertainment series including Top Gear and factual series including Planet Earth.

Consumers can buy individual episodes from £0.99 (€1.15) or whole series for £17.99 for a 30 day ‘rental’. The pay content will sit alongside the existing free service.

Free programming has been available since February and comprises a library of 3,000 hours from BBC Worldwide, Channel 4, Five and various independent production companies. SeeSaw is based on the former Project Kangaroo that was led by UK public broadcaster the BBC.
