Poland watches football in 3D
Cyfra Plus completed Polands first live 3D TV broadcast at the weekend when it aired the Wisla Krakow v. Odr¹ Wodzis³aw football match on Saturday.
The match was broadcast to various pubs in Krakow, Poznan and Warsaw that were fitted with LG Electronics 3D TV sets. Viewers with a HD set-top and a 3D TV set could also view the match at home and it was also shown in some cinemas.
The Polish pay-TV operator said about 1,000 people watched the match in 3D.
