Cyfrowy Polsat ended the first quarter with 3,239,755 subscribers after adding nearly half a million new subs in 12 months. The operator boosted its customer base by 437,699, or 15.6%, in the year to the end of March.
The number of Family Package subscribers increased by 12.8% to 2,608,101, representing 80.5% of the entire subscriber base. Mini and Mini Max Package subscribers made up the rest of the base, with a total of 631,654, up 28.7% year-on-year. The operators churn rate increased to 9.1% from 6.6% a year earlier. However, ARPU was also up, reaching PLN36.1 (Â8.90), compared with PLN34.9.
The operator reported first quarter revenue of PLN374m, up 21.3% year on year. EBITDA was PLN123m, up from PLN94m.
