Samsung predicts stronger-than-expected 3D TV sales

Samsung is set to raise its 2010 3D TV sales forecast to over two million units, as demand continues to grow.

The TV manufacturer’s visual display division president Yoon Boo-keun told reporters that 3D TV sales could pass the number of LED TVs it sold last year, which was around 2.6 million. He said that supply is falling short of the strong demand for 3D sets but the shortage is expected to ease in the second half of the year.
