Belgacom increased its TV customer base by almost 50% in the 12 months to the end of March. It added 62,000 new TV customers the first quarter of 2010, resulting in a total customer base of 814,000, up from 555,000 a year earlier. Belgacom TV revenue grew by 49.2% year-on-year to 44m.
Belgacom also saw successful uptake of bundled offers. An additional 92,000 subscribers took bundled packages in the first quarter meaning a total of 653,000 customers took a package by the end of March.
Belgacom reported flat revenues of Â591m for the three months to the end of March. TV revenue was up to Â44m from Â29 a year earlier.
