Broadcast services provider WRN has rebranded as WRN Broadcast and announced Top Up TV as a new customer.
WRN Broadcast today launched its new Media Centre, which offers a range of broadcasting and transmission technology and services, including ingest, content management, playout, encoding/multiplexing and worldwide distribution via fibre and satellite.
WRN Broadcast also announced that it has been contracted to provide content management and multi channel playout services to Top Up TV, the UKs pay-DTT service. Since January, WRN Broadcast has developed a tapeless workflow for Top Up TV, which includes acquisition and file management from over 20 distributors. The solution also incorporates library management, ingest, file delivery, remote editorial compliance review, storage and archive, playout and distribution.
