BBC HD channel to launch in Poland

The BBC HD channel is to launch in Poland on May 1. The channel will be available to 700,000 households via TVN-owned DTH platform ‘n’.

BBC Worldwide said that the channel will also launch on UPC Polska’s cable platform within the next few weeks.

The channel, which shows popular BBC shows including The Jonathan Ross Show, Gavin and Stacey, Hotel Babylon and Robin Hood, will be versioned in Polish with lectored audio.
