France Télécom/Orange plans to add commercial broadcaster TF1s catch-up TV service MyTF1 to its Livebox offer within the next few weeks, according to reports.
Financial daily Les Echos has reported that the pair are set to announce a deal imminently following several months of negotiations. In addition to catch-up services, MyTF1 offers certain new shows on video-on-demand, with further interactive applications in the works. Up to now, the service was only available to the 300,000 households equipped with a Bbox from Bouygues Telecom, with about 100,000 regularly using it.
