Dutch telco KPN had 1.033 million TV customers as of March 31, according to its latest quarterly financial report.
The majority of the operators TV customers are to digital-terrestrial service Digitenne. However, KPNÂs IPTV service saw stronger relative growth in the first quarter.
KPN said it had a 42% share of the Dutch broadband market at the end of the quarter, including about 31,000 fibre-to-the-home customers. The telco said its VDSL upgrade was now almost complete, allowing it to offer IPTV services to 80% of households and HDTV services to 70%.Â
