KidsCo signs Orange satellite deal

KidsCo has signed a deal with Orange that will see the French telco carrying the children’s channel on three of its satellite platforms.

The channel will broadcast from Astra’s 19.2° East orbital position this month and from Eutelsat’s Hotbird 6 and Atlantic Bird 3 from June. Orange already delivers KidsCo to platforms in France, Spain, Poland and Slovakia. The broadcaster said the new deal continued the channel’s strategic expansion into western and central and eastern Europe.
