Voddler inks Telenor deal

Sweden-based video-on-demand operator Voddler has inked a deal with Telenor and the pair will launch a VOD service in Denmark within weeks.

Voddler has teamed with Telenor Denmark, which has two million customers. Voddler said it will be launching in the other two Nordic countries in which it does not have a presence – Norway and Finland – soon. In Sweden it has about 500,000 registered users. It has recently inked content deals with suppliers including Sony and BBC Worldwide.
