YouSee highlights HD growth

Danish cable operator YouSee expects that half a million Danish cable TV customers will be able to follow this summer’s World Cup in HD.

The number represents one third of all Danish households, up from 4% that were able to watch the last World Cup, in Germany, in HD. Figures from the Denmark’s digital media industry association suggest that 53% of the country’s households now have an HD-ready TV.
