Polish pay-TV operator Canal Plus had revealed details of its proposed 3D TV broadcast, the first for Poland.
The broadcaster will air a match from Polands top football league in 3D on May 15. Canal Plus will broadcast the match from either Poznan, Krakow or Warsaw, depending on how the race for the top league place stands. Nine stereoscopic cameras will be used for the broadcast, which will be transmitted in partnership with satellite operator Eutelsat. Canal Plus subscribers with HD DVRs and 3D TVs will be able to watch the match, which will also be broadcast to pubs in various cities fitted out with 3D TV sets from LG Electronics.
