T-VIPS wins Austrian contract for DVB-T2

Video contribution and distribution specialist T-VIPS is to supply its CP560 DVB-T2 gateway to broadcaster ORS to deliver live HD TV to Austria’s terrestrial viewers in Vienna.

The CP560 DVB-T2 gateway provides a central point of control for the DVB-T2 network proposed for Austria to deliver HD services over the terrestrial netgwork. A commercial trial will be live in time for the World Cup finals, according to T-VIPS.
