Astra 3B ready for launch

SES Astra’s latest satellite Astra 3B is ready for launch later today. The satellite will take to the skies aboard an Ariane 5 ECA rocket, and will be launched into space between 07:03 and 07.52 local time from the Kourou Space Centre in French Guiana.

Astra 3B will be located at 23.5° East to deliver DTH services mainly to the Benelux and eastern Europe regions, as well as two-way broadband services across Europe and the Middle East.
