History Channel heads to Virgin Media

International factual channel operator AETN UK is to launch the Military History channel on UK cable operator Virgin Media.

This comes eighteen months after the network, which airs programming featuring ancient battles and modern day military figures, launched in the UK via satellite pay broadcaster BSkyB.

AETN UK is a joint venture between A&E Television Networks and BSkyB.
