Satellite operator AsiaSat has announced that William Wade will become CEO when Peter Jackson retires from the role on July 31.
Jackson will become executive chairman and remain as executive director of AsiaSat until July 31 2011. Wade is currently deputy CEO and executive director of AsiaSat.
Separately, AsiaSat has reported an operating profit of HK$594,934,000 (57,449,000) for 2009, up from HK$520,681,000 for the previous year.
