Tele Columbus launches HD starter pack

German cable operator Tele Columbus has launched a new HD starter pack, giving subscribers access to HD channels for an additional 9.98 a month.
The package provides 40 basic digital channels along with RTL HD, Vox HD, Das Erste HD, ZDF HD, Arte HD and EinsFestival HD via a new Kaon DVR set-top with a 250GB hard drive and two tuners. The receivers can be connected to broadband to receive additional interactive services. Existing digital basic customers can upgrade for an additional Â4.99 a month.
