France O to fill DTT slot vacated by AB1

French overseas channel France O is to take the place of pay-TV channel AB1 on France’s digital-terrestrial platform after the withdrawal of the latter, according to local reports.

France O, operated by public broadcaster France Télévisions, will be available free-to-air before the summer, according to the report, following a government decree last Friday giving the public broadcaster permission to distribute the channel on the platform.
