Canal Plus strikes on-demand deal with MK2 cinema group

French pay-TV operator Canal Plus has struck a deal with cinema and DVD distribution group MK2 to make the former’s Canalplay video-on-demand service available via MK2’s web portal.

Films and series from Canalplay are available from the MK2.com home page. Films produced and distributed by MK2 will be available via the Canalplay service under the section ‘Label’.

MK2 will also provide editorial around the site, creating promos and providing news and reviews.
