UK-based mobile applications provider ROK has teamed up with Russian mobile TV service company KOX TV to launch a streamed mobile TV service, branded KOX TV, in Russia.
The service, which is described as carrier agnosticÂ, is being targeted at customers of mobile operators Beeline, Megafone, MTS and Tele2 who take a data package.
The service comprises 12 looped and on-demand TV channels and is priced RUB247 (Â6.13) a month, with the first two weeks free. Channels include Auto Plus, Antimult TV, Comedy TV, Russian Night, Ocean TV, Music Box Russia and six English-language channels (Future Shorts, X-Fighters, Bollywood News, Eye Music Networks and ROK Tube).
