ProSieben reports profit, appoints Dan Marks
German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 recorded a fourth quarter net profit in its latest financial results and announced that it has hired former BT Vision boss Dan Marks to its board.
The commercial broadcaster saw net profit reach 113.4m, compared to a net loss of Â140m last year. Revenue was up to Â880.5m compared to Â864.6m the previous year and EBITDA increased 15%.
The company has also hired Marks, who previously ran UK IPTV service BT Vision, as an executive board member. He will become responsible for new media operations and will replace Marcus Englert, who will leave at the end of April.
