International bow for TLC

Discovery Communications is rolling out its female-skewing lifestyle channel TLC internationally. The channel, which currently only airs in the US, will launch in Norway first, on March 4, on the Canal Digital, GET and Lyse pay-TV services. Discovery said TLC will be in over 75 markets, reaching 100 million homes by spring 2011. It added that by this point TLC will become the most widely distributed female-skewing brand in pay-TV.
