Conax wins Technosat contract for MENA

Telenor-owned conditional access company Conax has entered into a partnership with turnkey satellite system provider Technosat to secure the new Technosat Satellite HD platform in the Middle East and North Africa.

Dubai-based Technosat has entered an agent agreement exclusive for ten years with Conax for delivering secure HD set-top-boxes with Conax smart cards to its customers in the MENA region.

Technolsat currently delivers over one million set-tops annually in the region, as well as providing integration services for service providers.
