Russian service provider Comstar-UTS has taken 100% control of its Yekaterinburg cable TV and telecom subsidiaries.
Comstar Regions completed the purchase of the 20% of telecom and cable TV company Eurotel that it didnt already own, as well as the 25% of the company that owns the communications infrastructure in the city, for a total RUB100m (Â2.5m).
Eurotel provides cable TV under the Stream brand, with a 54% share of YekaterinburgÂs cable TV market  about 164,000 subscribers  and a 7% share of the local broadband market.
