UK broadcaster Five has signed a deal with US broadcaster CBS to make its content available on the latters online video website TV.com.
The deal builds on FiveÂs existing programming relationship with CBS, which produces a number of the channelÂs flagship US shows including CSI. Five will make programmes available on its Demand Five catch-up service, including soaps Neighbours and Home and Away, available on TV.com. Programmes will be free of charge and available only in the UK.
Rival US online TV service Hulu has yet to strike a deal with a UK broadcaster, while Arqiva-owned SeeSaw has launched with content from the BBC, Channel 4 and Five.
