STN to provide headend services for Slovenian DTT

Slovenian teleport operator STN is to provide headend services for the second Slovenian digital-terrestrial TV multiplex, scheduled to go on air in September ahead of the country’s digital switchover at the end of the year.

Multiplex B will reach over 85% of Slovenia’s households before switchover takes place, and will carry the channels of the country’s commercial broadcasters.

Slovenia’s DTT network is being provided by Norwegian transmission services specialist Norkring, part of the Telenor group.
