Set-top vendor Pace has been chosen by Luxembourg-based DTH operator M7 to develop HD and HD DVR set-top boxes.
The HD box will be deployed from today while the DVR version will be delivered later this year. Both Pace boxes will include conditional access from Nagravision and the OpenTV middleware-based NagraGuide, a suite of interactive applications. The boxes have been designed according to Paces low environmental impact initiative.
M7 provides DTH services to residential and business customers in the Benelux countries using its brand names CanalDigitaal, TV Vlaanderen and TeleSAT.
