Viacom18 launches Colors in the UK

Hindi-language general entertainment channel Colors has launched on UK pay-TV platform BSkyB.Â
The 24-hour channel will be available free-to-air at launch and then subsequently will be added to the View Asia package. Programmes will include Indian versions of international formats including Got Talent, Bingo and Fear Factor.
Colors is operated by Viacom18, a joint venture between Viacom and Indian media group TV18. The channel has been a huge success in the Indian market, where it launched in July 2008.
