Rai launches international channel in Asia

Italian public broadcaster Rai has launched its Yes Italia channel throughout Asia.

Rai International is handling the launch and the channel is being delivered by satellite services operator AsiaSat via its AsiaSat 5 satellite. Rai says the channel is for Italians abroad and is also designed to promote Italian history and culture outside of the country. Programming is broadcast in Italian with English and Spanish subtitles.
